The 6 Pillars of Foundational Strength You Need to Effectively Build Vocal Power and Minimize Fatigue

#TrainWithTamara #FoundationsWithTamara

Almost every singer I've ever had the privilege to work with wants to:

Sing With Ease and Power

Have the Stamina to Withstand the Demands of Shows, Recording, and Performing

Have a Vocal Tone and Style that Allows them to Genuinely Express Themselves

But what they don't realize is that in order to do this, their voice needs to have a strong vocal FOUNDATION

* * * *

Did you know that it takes about 3 months to get results if you're practicing properly?

Did you know that if you use the 'wrong' program, or if you don't know how to go through your program, it may take years or more to gain that same skill?

What I know to be true....
In order to effectively build strength, increase stamina, have the ability to avoid fatigue or make gains in your practice, a strong vocal FOUNDATION is necessary.

A solid house needs to be build on a sound foundation. So does your voice. But how do you build one?

There are 6 Pillars of Foundational Strength that essentially hold up your voice and allow it to be used freely, with power, and without fatigue. These pillars of strength can be built and tested. In this course, each week you will be introduced to a new pillar of foundational strength. Each pillar can be built by doing specific exercises in a specific range or area of your voice. These exercises have been put together in a voice exercise program that you do every week (ideally you do this program 4-8 times before moving on to the next pillar and set of exercises).

When you have built a strong foundation in these 6 areas of your voice, you will have the tools you need to be able to sing with so much more ease and freedom, build more vocal strength and power, and reduce fatigue immensely!

In my 25 years of coaching, I've come to the conclusion that the point of practice is not just to gain more skill as a singer to execute more accurately and effectively. It is to help you be more free and more powerful in the moment, when it counts. But the truth is - it takes a certain amount of skill, ability, or fitness to be able to do this
